OSISKO TEMPORARILY SUSPENDS OPERATIONS AT WINDFALL
In Accordance with Quebec Government Province-Wide Covid-19 Shutdown
(Toronto, March 23, 2020) Osisko Mining Inc. (OSK:TSX. “Osisko” or the “Corporation”) announced today that in response to the order of the Government of Quebec to close all non-essential businesses until April 13, 2020, it has suspended operations at its 100% owned Windfall gold project located in the Abitibi greenstone belt, Urban Township, Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Québec.
To date, Osisko has had no suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19, and has had a COVID-19 protocol in place since March 11 to protect its workforce. The health and safety of Osisko’s workforce, their families and the communities in which we operate remains the number one concern for Osisko. Osisko is committed to fully supporting safety measures for our workforce, families and communities.
