DESCRIPTION

Historical production from 1961 to 1974 amounted to 1,983,000 tonnes at 5.27 g/t Au for a total of 330,000 ounces of gold(1). The following tables provide details on the 43-101 mineral resource effective June 1, 2013:

(1) The listed grades for historical production are uncertain because some production records combine two or more deposits and it is not clear whether the reported grades represent recovered or in situ grades. In some cases, it is also unclear whether the reported numbers include waste from development workings. Numbers may therefore show some discrepancy depending on the source.

The Marban deposit consists of sheared basalt with disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite. Some quartz-carbonate veinlets with occasional albite and pyrite are also present. The deposit is located inside the Marbenite shear corridor. The zones are folded and the fold axes are sub-horizontal and oriented E-W. The fold limbs dip 45° to 70° to the north.
